It’s difficult to describe how exceptional Jarrett is because she handles everything with an unparalleled ease and grace, as well as a smile and a laugh. She’s the soccer coach, team van driver, AND snack provider. As a realtor with more than two decades of experience in Portland, she’s seen and successfully handled it all. Jarrett is the listener, the guide, the negotiator, the counselor, and the one who can find just the right contractor for anything. Jarrett founded Neighborhood Works 11 years ago and her dedication and drive has turned it into one of Portland’s premier boutique agencies. Business success aside, though, it is the ever growing community of people that Neighborhood Works has helped that Jarrett is truly proud of. Rushie Ellenwood

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Rushie loves using her dogged determination + ninja organizational skills to help clients navigate this ever-changing market.
A devout minimalist equally obsessed with thrift stores, Rushie thoroughly enjoys the thrill of the house hunt and really knows how to sniff out a bargain. Additionally, she’s got a kid in PPS and has toured countless houses with a baby in tow, so you can be sure she’s immune to screaming children (and knows decent coffee is generally a plus).
When not obsessing over tedious tediousness, Rushie is probably: drinking craft beer with friends, living that hammock life, reorganizing a junk drawer, volunteering at Rigler Elementary, or speed walking at Fernhill Park. Not that your agent needs to be an Olympic-caliber speed walker...but it doesn’t hurt, right?

Shannon Baird

As a native of Portland, Shannon is well acquainted with all areas of the city, the surrounding suburbs, and what the various neighborhoods have to offer. Her 20 years of experience working in the real estate industry has helped to develop a true understanding of how a house has to function to become a home. She also runs a design company, S. Baird Design, and this knowledge of architecture and design can help her in the evaluation and potential enjoyment of a home.
Shannon has the ability to provide solid counsel. Her knowledge of real estate matters and absolute trustworthiness are invaluable in the process of any transaction.
Having worked for 15 years as a manager of assets for executives living locally and in Europe, Shannon has developed and maintained the trust, organization, professionalism, and effective negotiating skills inherent to the business of real estate.

Joel Roth

Joel is in a band – which instantly makes him the coolest member of our team. He is also a professionally trained chef and can build cabins with his bare hands. He is a Swiss Army knife of cool. But, his coolness isn’t why people love him, or why he is an amazing realtor. Joel is also incredibly detail oriented, knowledgeable and kind. He is the first to offer help, and is an incredible resource for all things real estate or construction (or music, or food). The best proof of how great Joel is to work with is how many of his clients have become his friends.

Charis Palmer

Charis loves old homes and likes to imagine the stories they could tell. She likes to joke that her old home in SE Portland is one of her best friends and is a community advocate for community preservation. She is also a huge animal lover, having started a group for rescue birds and being on the forefront of the urban chicken movement in Portland. She likes to think of herself more as real estate advocate and counselor than a transactional salesperson and loves the people aspect of this business.
